A trained shipwright, Richard Winfrey started his joinery career building boats for the family business based on the scenic Helford River in Cornwall.
In the mid-80s he put his skills and in-depth knowledge of wood into the design and build of hand-made kitchens. Customer demand has diversified the business into offering everything from architectural staircases to fully fitted panelled libraries, specially designed for individual collections.
